How to Design Custom 360 Printed Socks

Posted on April 1, 2021

Custom socks are a bold and effective promotional tool for businesses, teams, and events. Printed with vivid colors and a dynamic wraparound design, they make an eye-catching impression. While they come with some drawbacks like fading or visible edges, these can be minimized with the right fabrication technique and by paying attention to important details.

Our state-of-the-art 360 degree full color digital printing on socks allows you to customize a wide variety of designs and logos. You can even add multiple colors in a single design, creating a pixel-perfect representation of your company’s brand.

The first step in designing a pair of custom socks is to choose the cuff style you want – no-show, quarter cuff, crew, or knee-high. You can also select a fabrication method – jacquard knit, dye sublimated, or 360 print. Jacquard knit socks are the most affordable option, while dye-sublimated socks offer greater color fidelity and photo-realistic quality.

When you are ready to start designing your one-of-a-kind sock, use the online design portal to select your customization options. Our design portal can take hi-res photos or vector graphics and remove the white background for a more realistic image, and you can add text, a second photo, or other custom elements.

You can also select a fabric blend for your custom socks, including a cotton/spandex/nylon/elastic blend, a bamboo/spandex/nylon/elastic, or a combed cotton/spandex/nylon/elastic. We recommend choosing a fabric that is soft and durable enough for active use, as it will be regularly worn by active people. Depending on the fabric you choose, you can also choose the thickness of your custom socks. custom 360 printed socks
