A new network of high quality used cars is being launched by AA Motoring to give motorists extra confidence when buying a car. The AA Preferred Dealer Network is free for dealers to join, with benefits including AA Motoring branding on their signage and digital channels and promotion to the organisation’s 2.6 million members.
AA Motoring services general manager Jonathan Sergel says a number of dealers have already expressed interest in joining the network, which is backed by the AA’s trusted reputation. “There is a huge demand from motorists to find dealerships that they can trust when buying a used car,” he says. “We’re committed to growing the AA Preferred Dealer Network to help provide this for consumers.”
Dealers must commit to a minimum of six months MOT, and have a fixed price policy when selling vehicles. They must also have a history check and offer a mediation service if they can’t resolve an issue with a customer. Dealerships will be able to display an AA Approved sticker on their window to show that the vehicle has passed our 43-point inspection.
AAA members can connect with certified dealers through this service by selecting the make, model and trim of the vehicle they’re interested in purchasing. Pricing information communicated to AAA from a participating certified dealer includes MSRP plus any manufacturer incentives and dealer discounts. Members can also use a free online tool to get an estimated Kelley Blue Book(r) trade-in value and receive 20% off CARFAX(r) vehicle history reports. AA preferred dealers
